My name is Philip Kresge. I am a marketing/promotion professional by trade, and a photographer by passion.

My first exposure to photography was from my father, who could often be seen with his twin lens reflex Yashica. I thought it was so cool - I wanted to be just like dad. With my first camera - a Kodak Brownie Fiesta - dad showed me the ropes. We built a dark room together and he taught me all the basics. I’ve been into it ever since.

Through my teen years - and my 35 mm days - I not only had dad's guidance, but also was influenced by Mr. Wayne Cook - my 7th grade math and high school photography teacher. The mentoring from these two has made me what I am today and I am thankful to have them both in my life.

Though it is only a hobby, photography is also my passion. Now I am able to combine two loves - photography and the outdoors. Whether I’m in the Adirondacks of New York, the Katmai National Preserve in Alaska or right at home here in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, I am always looking for the right light, the proper perspective – the perfect image.

I hope you enjoy viewing my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
